# Apparently gifs have more than one trick...

Apparently a gif has always had the ability to be composed of multiple sections at 256 colors. Allowing for more than 256 colors. Useful, maybe for a animated gif otherwise it’s quite useless. But it’s nifty nonetheless. 🙂
