I got a ~5" needlenose gar for my 30G tank, and my wolf fish got along with it all day, then night time came… Needless to say the gar is gone lol. I wanna try to get something bigger and hopefully he’ll leave it alone. ---

I had one for a year. The Florida gars at davey jones locker are a minimum of 10". They are pretty big…their $40 but as long as you take care of them right, they will live longer then us lol ---
