well, thats a god spin. eggs are eggs really, they all turn into some sort of critter that is considered meat… but for this thread lets stick to chicken. ---

Eggs = dairy, until hatched. Oranges aren’t considered penicillin until moldy. ---

The egg is an undeveloped embryo of sorts… so I’d say meat. EDIT: And they do call the yolk the “meat” of the egg ---

most dairy products are processed (cheese, most milk, etc. Eggs are not. Eggs however are like seeds. Not quite belonging to the fruit/vegtable groups… but they are something else until they mature. ---

Okay, a veggie is a seed or a root until it grows & develops “veggie meat” / or becomes an adult plant. So, I’ll say that an egg would be similar. it’s not a meat until it’s developed into one. Now, I’ll go out and say that eggs are actually supplements / protein sacks. …and afterall, arent chickens poultry? not meat. ---

Chicken is THE WHITE MEAT, pork being the other white meat. So no, Its not poultry… unless you are comparing it to other meats. ---

However if you get an egg that has been fertilized… then i guess you have another situation on your hand, but unless you buy local farm eggs, this probably wont happen… but i recommend buying local eggs because they are far less cruel.
