# Are FN's played?

Just a little opinion question on a slow day at work…
**Do you think FN’s have had their day?**
Personally, I think they are still pretty hot. Assuming you get some decent offsets, every car I see them on just looks nice.
The best part is, in SoCal, these rims have been done to death. It seems that every site I go on now (and for the last little while) is full of guys unloading these rims. You can find almost any colour, any size and bolt pattern and any offset for your needs. In most cases you can find them with decent rubber too for far less than $1g usd shipped.
Assuming you have no issue with not being “cutting edge” with your rim selection, I think these are a good buy right now.

Yeah in the US, especially in so-cal they are everywhere.
I have yet to see a set on a car here tho.
They arnt bad looking rims the rears with a low offset look awesome.
There are better looking wheels for a s14 chassis, but these ones look pretty good.

Those rims look damn good. The 17_9 front and concave 17_10 rear look hot as hell. Don’t get the black with polished lip though. The lip is way to small to polished and it looks stupid with the polished center section.
Also, they aren’t played out in Canada. I have only seen one s13 rocking these wheels and they were only the 17_7 17_8 combo…ewww. These rims are a reasonable price and come in a good size and offset for 4 and 5 lug (17_9 4 lug is now available). Too bad we can’t get the concave look of the 17_10s in 4 lug ☹ .

try to get
17x10 +12 in the rear
17x8 +25 in the front
and you are good to go 🙂
I think those wheels are nice. Who cares if they are “played out”. If you can get them for a decent price, do it 🙂

HREs are shit.
They are heavy, retardedly expensive and, although nice looking, they peform like shit on the track and have cracked under stress in numerous instances.
Those who are serious about performance don’t sport HREs.
And I agree with you Bing, the 57S would be awesome esp for those who are still 4lug.
