Standard-issue uniforms come... ![http://www.slate.com/content/dam/slate/articles/health_and_science/science/2012/07/120705_SCI_ARMYUNIFORM.jpg.CROP.rectangle3-large.jpg](https://canada1.discourse-cdn.com/flex034/uploads/speedlife/original/3X/8/c/8cc601ef3d29ea8b201bfd95f52b34ee85fa483a.jpeg) As apparently it never worked real well to begin with. > Even before the UCP was issued to soldiers, lab tests showed that it [didn’t perform as well](http://stinet.dtic.mil/cgi-bin/GetTRDoc?AD=A433081&Location=U2&doc=GetTRDoc.pdf) as other designs.
