i mean i hear that but look at cubs fans…look at red sox fans up until they finally won in 04… the pirates problems are much bigger than owners who dont freely spend. it could help to spend 100 million a year but it also could backfire. the 5 mill they put into brand new facilities in domincan to develop dominican talent is money well spent. Americans dont wanna play baseball anymore and thats all they wanna do down there. the current commisioner is the worst in the history of sports. hes been acting commish since 92…the last time the pirates were good…there is obviously something wrong with his model. players are running the league!
