who builds auto trannys… as in a fwd 1.7 liter 78-81 omni tranny… the same 1.7 tranny that has the same bellhousing bolts as a vw engine…

omni was never made in 1978-81

He’s always been very cool to deal with and is very forthcoming about his set up. He’s going 12.4 on an Omni slusher in his Rabbit…he’ll have some good info on actually getting it in there and functioning. His is built as well, so he’d be a good conversation…

and IIRC, Forward Motion is a big FWD Mopar crew with ALOT of experikecne in this area. I wonder if the old Gus Mahon(might not rememeber that one correctly??? )had anything on this. He was the king of cheap, effective, proven…
