Im looking to purchase a phone with the following MIN. requirements - Palm OS V 5.0 or higher - Bluetooth - 320x320 color display - 16-bit color resolution. the phone must be compatable for Verizon So far I have found 1 and it is the PalmOne Treo 650 If anybody knows of any others PLease let me know model numbers please thanks a million, :bigthumb: ---

so the treo is the way to go? I have researched it, an I like it, the only reason i didnt go get it is i wanted to shop around a bit. ---

One of the guys here at work has a Treo 650. I have a Samsung i700 so I asked him if I could mess with it one day. I liked it. I’m not a fan of the Palm OS but it was a nice device. I would prefer to have that hardware running PocketPC though. But it sounds like you have something specific you need the Palm OS for. ---

I have to install a 3sixty.2, its a sound processor, and i estimate i will be installing a few of these in the upcoming months, but yes the requiremnts are spefic, but also minimums, so I could use something newer, or more advanced. But I guess it has to have the palm OS:dunno: ---

i like my treo 650 the new treo700 runs the pocket pc/windows CE or what ever windows calls it now the palm version is supposed to come out later. but IMO when it comes to phone PDA’s palm\>windows for speed, software, etc… every windows based one i’ve ever messed with was a DOG ---

are you saying you would buy the 650 again? and can you list any problems youve had with it as well if any? also would you say its comfortable to talk on, being that my LG x8000 is just over a year old and i have logged over 430 hours on it, ---

Ive had no problems with the 650… and i would buy a 650 again over a 700 anyday. if the 650 had the broadband internet speed that the 700 had it would be hands down the best. but if you can live with the dialup speed, you’ll be fine ---

dumb question but dose the 650 have a built in digital cam? I dont care about internet access, i just cant see buying a 200 dollar palm pilot and then carring both my bulky cell phone and the palm pilot at the same time. would you say the 650 is bulky at all? and is it comfy to talk n for long periods of time? ---

mines fine to talk to. i use the speaker alot too. sounds pretty clear. Treo 650 has a camera and camcorder ---
