Hmm…I think the VK45 would be a better choice tho, if money is less of an issue. Its the motor that replaced the VH45, and has 60 more hp and 40 more tq.

Ive wanted to do a VH45 swap in something for the past 3 years…
Im seriously looking into a 240SX with a VH45… ive been emailing the guy back and fourth and just hear from sefcu the loan is approved i just have to decide if I want to owe money on something for the next 2 years and if I want to take that much of a hit every month
BTW the sound of a VH45\> Most domestic V8’s

Yes but that would be like dropping in a Chevy small block into your Mustang. Your obviously keeping a ford motor in your car, so we like to keep Nissan motors in our Nissans 😃

+1 the only outside influence I would allow is an LSx of some sorts…
But VH45’s are some of the best sounding v8’s ive ever heard, the yhave a distinct sound that I think rivals most of the domestic motors…

The VH45s are one of my fav sounding V8s, and the VQ35s are my fav sounding V6.
Now I just have to pick which one I wanna put in my S30.
