# AUDI S4 question

except that picture includes a steering wheel and nav/head unit that aren’t available in the US (and its an RS4).

well if you want to get nit picky the wheel is euro only you are correct but the rns-e headunit is avail in u.s. vehicles. the only differences btwn the s4 and rs4 interior is the shift knob, aluminum pedals, black cluster, and if you are across the pond you get those amazing rs4 recaros other than that they are the same interior.
besides it was the only b6/b7 pic of interiors i could get to load at work from my audizine search… 🙂

I didn’t say you couldn’t purchase it and put it in your car, I said it wasn’t available in the US.

right, but not the RSN-E, just arguing semantics.
I agree, the B6 \> B5, although I really don’t care for the steering wheel in the B6/7/8. I wish we could get the D wheels.

i know everyone is entitled to opinions but man i must be one of the few that think the b5 body seems really old looking. plus i know tunability the 2.7tt is king but it had soooooo many problems esp if you started to tune one that wasnt maintained properly from day 1. i would think the n/a v8 is a nice transition to the new(er) s-lined audis esp with the s/c now avail from vf/awe and producing similar power with less to pull your hair out about.

yea ill totally agree the b6 front end lacks the more agressive look the car should have had but they realized thier mistake and corrected them for the next gen [see:b7 DTM], but man i fall in love with the back of my avant everytime i go out to my car…LOL

b5’s are nice. b6’s suck. b7’s are awesome.
b5’s handle like dick. b6 and b7 handle good. (both in stock and modified configuration, no… not a fuckin race car.)

i personally like the b6 way better then the b5, the b5 looks old and out dated. id perfer the 4.2 v8 over the 2.7t and im a turbo guy.
