# \*Audio related\* Head Unit not reading USB

So I have a deck that reads USB. I use a USB key to play music off the deck. I’ve been using this deck for almost 2 years with no problems. Recently, the deck has stopped reading the USB. I mean…it’s not even detecting it.

I’ve already looked up the compatible formats and ensured my music is in the correct format. I’ve tried different USB keys and still have the same problem.

This is a long shot - but does anyone have suggestions?

There is probably a damaged connection. in the cable or the USB input.

The other other thing that I can think of is that there is also a software problems with the headunit.

The USB port is right on the deck itself - there are no cables.

Is it possible to fix the software on the deck?

these things are ment to break, looks like you need a new one
