i used my helmet everyday. They can be a lil heavy on the head but worth every penny in my opinion worked good for Mig and Tig. Then I went out and bought a Hobart Helmet so I have some adjustments and its alot lighter ---

I got a cheapy from Harbor Freight and it works well. It darkens from 9 to 13. It came with a few replacement lenses and fits my head comfortably. Well worth the $50. How much are they typically on eBay? They’re probably the same or similar quality. ---

30 bucks, I just wanna make sure the lens is good enough to protect my eyes, I went to lowes and depot and they wanted 99-120 for one, and it got me wondering why the ebay ones where way cheaper. ---

A helmet is not something to cheap out on. The higher end model have sensativity adjustments and darken faster. ---

holy crap, The one we have is like the first one they came out with. it cost almost 400. I bet the 30$ ones are better now anyhow. ---

haborfreight is in the southland shopping center kinda best buy and the new quaker steak and lube heading toward elizabeth. i would just get one from there. ---

harborfreight also sells the chinese screwdrivesr with the neon plastic handles… they’d get the job done, but have a 50% chance of snapping in half the first time you use it. ---
