# Auto wreckers

Hey guys
I noticed back in the day when I lived in an other city there were two types of auto wreckers. one with cheep ass cars kids strip clean and others that buy more expensive newer vehicles and remove the parts for you on demand.
As i see it there are only two wreckers in the east end of the GTA slandered and dom’s. What I am looking for is a FACTORY/OEM trailer hitch for a 2006 dodge Dakota. Anyone heard of one of these wreckers by any chance? I don’t see vary many new 2011 rav4 or 2009 BMW getting dropped off at slandered anytime soon.

they will buy insurance write offs…just call standard and see if they have it…u could also try carcone’s in aurora

^^ that or call around. My yard (Hank’s Auto Wreckers) sells them all of the time. We keep a lot of stock since were in the boonies rather then close to a major city.
A lot of those places you guys mentioned can also order in parts. Although, if it’s not a good price I’d just get new.
Our system says we’ve got a few for $60 a pop. Try car-part. When you search, go down to Trailer Hitch. Then next page, select the second option and a few years around your model that you know are similar.

Standard is mehh… Cookstown is good for pre-2000, Number 9 is pretty good for post-2000…
For oddball stuff there’s a ton of yards that you’d never consider going to, either small, badly stocked, picked over carcasses, for those the only way you find anything good is [car-part.com](http://car-part.com)… got all my z32 rear end bits from there, someone had torn apart a twinturbo 3yrs before and had some driveline parts squirreled away
