I’d be more than happy if a shop charged me a few bucks for a new bulb so my car could pass. If they charged me $15 for one I could change in 30 seconds? Not so much. I had a car fail many years ago for a fucking license plate bulb out. They would spend the 30 seconds to replace the bulb, but I’d have to schedule a new inspection, pay the fee again, etc. Fuck that. They lost my business. ---

I am my lucky we don’t have any inspectors right now. My one techs out for the year. The other is on vacation till wensday. Spam16v where do you work I want you as one of my techs. ---

That $15 certainly cost the shop that charged me far more than $15. QFT. I’ve had two different shops do this to me and it pissed me off both times. The first time was for a brake light bulb (of which there were two and only one was burned out in the center brake light). I even told them there’s a spare bulb in my glove box (there was) and I’ll do it in 30 seconds while they watch me. Didn’t work, they said they have to do it and they’re getting their $15 either for the bulb or the reinspection. They’ll never see another penny from me. Same for the other shop that did it. There are more than enough places around to do inspections. ---

we get those people all the time for example guy comes in with a beat to crap toyota out of 5 lugs only 3 had lug nuts. we failed it for wheels the guy called the cops and told them we were stealing his money and that he was not goin to pay the 3 dollars for 2 lugs. the cope looked at him and said sry sir theres nothin we can do. they have a right to claim this car is not safe… all in the end the guy paid the 3 dollars plus the 21 dollars for inspection ---

Dont fool yourself Jason pays him in peanuts. If you offer him some real money he’ll leave. Besides who would want to work in a dump like black forrest. (This is a Joke, its one of the nicest/cleanest/organized shop out there, and i can say so as i’ve seen just about every one of them) ---
