I saw this lat week, Dustin Worles just posted the video on FB.
crazy… i totally feel for this dude after having gone through my accidents this last month and a half.
if all you saw was the intial you’d assume, like i did, that it was some rich dude being silly who couldnt handle the car… in this case though, video shows it’s the other driver that makes the mistake and costs the Lambo driver and his insurance co a lot of money

DAMN!
lambo driver got lucky.
other driver is a tool. his insurance company would be paying out over 400,000$ for the car alone. + equivalent rental for time being @ $10,000-$33,000 per week for exotics, + any personal injury claims and loss of work days.
boom even the 1mil liability is used up lol.

they are both at fault in this one. The lambo driver was going too fast and the other driver failed to yield the right of way. Video also shows the other driver had more then enough time to stop but didn’t.

Guess those just aren’t designed to take those kinds of impacts…unless they’re designed to snap in half like a KitKat bar. No video of him beating the other driver like a rented mule?

Its hard to say based on the video if the lambo driver was speeding or not… purely speculation IMO.

It’s a carbon monocoque / survival cell with a rear aluminum space frame bolted to it. It’s meant to do that in heavy impacts, especially where a pole connects just behind the passenger cell. Dude in the mazda was an idiot.

i see that as being the Mazda’s fault, turning across traffic (right turn in the UK but equivalent to a left turn here) and the Lambo clearly wasn’t going that fast… even though it sounds awesome doing the speed limit or slightly above.

Other than the Nissan everyone is facing the other way.(?) I thought it was one way at first. (?)
It is proof you need to be a defensive driver at all times. Not that it was his fault but it possibly could have been avoided. There are idiots everywhere.
