# Back to looking for another Ls1

That car is overpriced IMO. Looks nice though but 12k is a lot to pay for a 98 with 150K+ on it. If it had a 408 and a 9in then maybe. I say if he will take 10k then it is a good deal. I know the guys from Tick very well from when i used to live there and they are top notch.

Its actually a LME 347ci with all forged internals
Couple of other specs-
The engine consists of a brand new LS6 block, AFR 205 heads, a custom LME 232 / 239 .598 / .613 on a 112 +4, TR-55 plugs, Taylor wires, Ported oil pump, FAST 90 / NW 90 , I just installed XS Stainless Headers, Texas Speed Catted Y-pipe, SLP LM2 catback, Racetronix High flow fuel pump, SLP Level I suspension package (1" drop), polished Z06 rims, LS7 clutch, etc… The whole setup has around 10k miles on it. I have over $9k in mods. Car made 428 RWHP and 394 RWTQ at Dez racing this past march.

I guess it is an ok deal i wouldn’t jump on it personally seeing as you can get a low mile built motor and rear car for only a few k more quite often. But since you are trying to budget this might be a pretty good deal in that price range. I still say offer 10k and see if he takes it. Keep in mind you will need a extra set of slicks for the track and a rear if you want to start racing it as well.

That rear motor won’t last a single launch with the 6 speed, as you probably know. If you get him down 2g’s or more to pay for a rear for yourself then go for it.

dang thats a bad deal man… If he blows up on ls1tech i’d post exactly what you put here along with the PMs. let people know what a pile the car really is.
If you want a nice project fast car i got one for ya 😉 Has every go-fast upgrade you could possibly ask for. Just needs an LS1 shortblock and your off running 9s

but its a 4th gen in sheeps clothing, 4th gen interior, 4th gen motor, so much cleaner than 90% of the 4th gens u will find plus so much easier to work on. ok ok i’ll stop trying to sell everything i own.

I think the engine has about 7k on it, tranny is fresh from Tick, he hasnt even reinstalled it yet…
