# bad amp - need someone to fix it?

I’ve got an old (circa 1999) Sony Xplod 75x2 car amp. This was a decent enough amp until it blew on me. Does anyone on here repair amps, or recommend a place to take it? I know a fair amount of electronics, but I don’t have the equipment to repair it myself. I have the schematics/service manual. I did hook it up to a 12v source through a 10A fuse and it blows it right away. The fuses on the amp, 2x25A aren’t blown. Thanks for any help

shop repair will cost close to that of a new amp. Unless you can do a warantee repair or have a friend do it its usually not worth it.
