I’m curious as to what you had the center diff set on. Auto, full lock, or something else? I usually have mine on full lock for dirt, snow, gravel, etc.

Honestly was a mix. started at about 60% full lock in the morning runs and ended up around 75-80% once things got a little sloppy, but then dialed it back some as the car was pushing hard through the corners on accel(street tires loading up with muck)
buying Grippa’s gravels next week though, so it’ll likely be about 80% locked. Full lock only happen in the wet snow shit, otherwise the car just steers like a 2 ton brick.

Dude I love the center diff control setup you have, I want so bad! How fast does it switch from full rear wheel to say 40% or so?

It’s not full rear wheel, unless he did some crazy shit :lol I have a similar setup in my car and it switches instantly. STi’s came from the factory with the Driver Controlled Center Differential. If you swap a STi transmission into a car that did not have DCCD, you need to buy a controller for it. That’s what Adam and I have.
I have a DCCDPro controller. I believe Adam does as well.

transfers torque split as fas as i can press/release the button. yeah it’s not 100% RWD, but sends some 80% of the torque to the rear wheels making it act like a RWD car. only on 04/05 gearboxes and early 06’s can do it, after that they switched center diffs and the torque split can’t be as great to the rear. Car drives like a skyline in that mode(AWD with RWD torque bias). REALLY helps in getting the car spun around on a tight hairpin.
I never even touch the hydro ebrake anymore to rotate the car.
