Thought this deserved its own thread. This thing was hard to find cruising around down there(H2Oi), but it was a center piece at the show on Sunday. It’s an old 5 series, chopped, with a 2jz swap. Thing is unreal and the definition of sinister/badass.

The steering wheel and door panels kill it. Would be sweet if he suicided the rear doors and got rid of the B-pillar

A yoke and some military gray trim for the doors would really complete the theme.

Car has a long story and was totaled at least once, maybe twice, can’t remember. The guy has a few other cars including a white e36 with an open-ITB S54B32 swap using the entire e46 harness so this e28 is just a side project. Hate it or love it… you’re staring at it and dropping what you’re doing to listen to it when it drives by.
The wheels are plated 24k gold, btw :rofl

im with ya man, it’s kinda cool in its own sort of way, but the way I determine if I like something is if I would personally buy it/drive it… I wouldnt pay more then a grand for that thing and if I DID buy it, it’d be as a joke… Kinda how I almost bought a yellow VW beetle with flower wheels and was gonna throw a turbo vr6 in it lol…
