100% true. Muscle memory FTW. When i raced and rode MX I used to love the look on peoples faces when they ask me how the hell i saved that back there and i say “What are you talking about”. It happens so fast your body responds naturally and like you said, your brain is in race mode and already looking at the next turn befor your feet are back on the pegs!
