# Basement Bar Build

I like it but I think the tile looks dated to me.Some stacked stone would have been nice on there. What made you pick it? I wish i had the space to make a basement bar. Oh well, maybe a next house

Some updates. Things are starting to come together. There is just some trim to finish up on the bar, then I’ll start on the counter / sink / fridge area along the wall. My phone camera sucks so hard, I’ll get a couple of decent shots this weekend. I think that’s why it has more of a ‘dated’ look in some of the pictures than it does in person; my phone seems to put a orange hue on everything.

Did you use a vapor barrier under that wood? It doesn’t look like PT and it’s in direct contact with concrete.

I did not. It’s not directly contacting concrete though, it’s sitting on tile. Forgot about this thread, I’ll get some (better) pictures of the final product.
