To some this may seem a bit much while others may even feel it’s minimalistic. At any rate, I tried to find a balance between quality parts and economical parts. When you got the alignment, did you dial in factory settings or do your own stuff? ---

Well I just put these on a couple hours ago Adjustable tension rods– Old tension rod versus new. Looking good Patrick.:R Now you’re getting into the expensive stuff. Even KYB AGX’s are adjustable and a lot less hassle and a lot less expensive than coil-overs. About $300usd on ebay if you catch a good sale. Front adjustable upper control arms can cost even more than the shocks themselves. Rear adjustable control arms can be sourced for much chaeper though. SS braided lines can go for around 100 - 120usd for the 4. ---

Looks good Patrick!! When you put on those front upper adjustable control arms make sure the thicker adjustable part of the unit is to the outside furthest away from the bulkhead of the fender well. ![http://i117.photobucket.com/albums/o69/pcproa/Suspension/PICT0003.jpg](http://i117.photobucket.com/albums/o69/pcproa/Suspension/PICT0003.jpg) The section to the bottom of the pic is the thickest and should be situated furthest away from the bulkhead to prevent rubbing and making contact with the fender well mount. There’s a thread on this in [www.300zxClub.com](http://www.300zxClub.com) where even a very expensive set was seen to be making contact with the inner arm mount. I’m sure you’ll figure that out when it’s installed anyway. Looking good. :R ---

When I was putting it on I made sure of it. Thanks :R . Pictures to come in the next couple days of front and back all put together. The setup is very nice now, I just have to play with dampening and coilover height. Big brakes on next and the parts for the TT swap should be leaking in over the next few days. ---

holy shit pat, you have adjustablility coming out ur ass! you gotta take it to the track at least once when it’s done! me and kev were looking at your car last night, its really low man… the rear camber is pretty huge, i liked it before, it sat so well, u should lift it before u wear your rear tires out. ---

Yeah. I love it. Tension Rods adjust caster. Upper control arms for camber, coilovers for ride height. The back can already adjust toe from the factory and the caster is fixed on the back. It is really low. I’m considering raising the car a tiny bit to where just the tire tread gets covered by the fenders. I was telling you yesterday, I didn’t even get a chance to test drive it. I put on the suspension stuff throughout the day and the “first” time I drove it was to CG, so I didn’t really get a feel for it. Blind adjustment throughout the day. I broke both of the inner upper control arm bolts on the rear, so I put in some temps from Home Depot until I get the right stuff from Nissan. Tomorrow I’ll be playing with the suspension again. ---

Sounds and looking good Patrick :R Yes, the higher grade bolts are a must for the adjustable control arms. Have you made a few checks of the front adjustable control arms to make sure they’re not making any contact with the control arm mount? Like Hanzzz mentioned before, don’t want to ride too much with severe negative camber else the insides of the tires will get smoked. Next stop - an alignment shop to get everything squared away.
