# battery light

my battery light on my 89 s13 is lit up but it is dim. my battery reads 12 volts and 14 when the car is running.(like normal) anyone know why this is on? thanks

seen this prob on more than one sohc

i think it has something to do with the bulb check relay being stuck open

do you hear a buzzing sound at low idle?

does the light become dimmer as the revs up?

it could be my belt because there starting to crack. but its not squeaking as if it were slipping. ill change them and see if that solves it.

im not hearing a noticeable buzz and the light doesnt dim as the rpm goes up.

after i change my belts and its still on ill just ignore it. battery is new and alternator is charging
