# BE early bird Shannonville FULL track event

I wish I could get sponsored for tires lol, I’d come all the time hehe, although I need better brakes, the 26mm alu 300zx calipers fade on me after heavy abusive braking, not exactly ideal for the track… I really want to come out at least a few times this year… its just awesome… even though my car would definetely be the slowest hehe.

Do I need a race license to come to the track though? I’ll be just a novice of course looking to compete in a sort of modified rwd class down the line, even though I have stock engine now.

Also are our laps time tracked by someone at a podium or something of that sort?

And could I borrow someone’s bucket seats for the day when I go LOL, because the s14 seats I got are not good enough still… I slide still in them, even though they are years ahead of the crappy stock s13 seats. Emberassing I know 😛

I really want to come out one day… I’ve been waiting for this since last year… Also is there gas at the track or something of that sorts?.. since a trip from Oakville to Shannonville will use quite a bit of gas.

236km from where I live in Oakville… that’s a long long long day. I would hate to break down such a distance far away from home lol.

And are there any maps of the track so one can study the path and corners beforehand?

Also will I need a helmet? I don’t have one ☹ Anything else I should know even?

I also am wondering where is toronto mosport located? And what other tracks there are around us here, plus if anyone is going to organize anything on them. I don’t have track experience but I want to get going in it, after all that’s sort of the thing my car is being built for 🙂
