what about selling the DD to get another DD and keep the coupe as a side thing? if you have a second car, you won’t ever be tempted to turn a nut on the DD. hopefully. ---

Even then I’m paying an extra $100/mo for insurance on it. Not worth it. Rather put that towards coverage on a newer nicer car. It seems to be a popular swap for these cars but the motors are hard to find anymore. I’ve heard of a couple newer 1.8T 4cyl. motors going in them as well. ---
