Congrats Kent on winning D-sport round three in Calgary! You looked kick ass out there. For those who didn’t attend, he managed to make the only pass during semi-final tandem, and fucked up a seagull who was in the wrong place at the wrong time, all with a giant penis on the dash. :anal Impressive!
EDIT: watching the vids I have, I see that Conroy did manage to pass the red Corrolla during the 3rd place battle. /EDIT
There was a few cars that bent/broke parts, which sucks, but for spectating it couldn’t have been better. Well worth the drive down, the tandem battles were wild!
I have a bunch of vid that I’ll try to upload tomorow also.
Third, Second, First place.

Conroy Flicking it to the wall time after time, so close I was sure he’s eat it. Very talented driving.

Haha, when i was driving by that seagull i was like wtf…that thing is havign a seizure…then i was like shit…better keep concentrating on drifting…haha. Sucks that i was daydreaming at the starting line on that first run :headache: Im glad it was kent that beat me though :thumb

I gotta say that the Dsport in Calgary really blew me away. I never thought there was that much talent around here. The cars and drivers were all amazing i just wish the event ran smoother with less down time between rounds. I can’t wait to get involved in drifting next year. It looks as though the sport is headed in the right direction. Its just to bad i thought the crowd would have been bigger.

Haha. Kenji would be proud to be mentioned on the forums under a drift related topic. Yeah, props to him for making it back and then into the final 8. A great job driving by him. The car still tracks straight, and he was offered a trailered ride to Edmonton but declined. Im waiting to hear from him this morning and then we should head back to Edmonton, along with Ryan and his broken control arm.

awesome event! Segull was amazing. I seen it do like 3 face plants. Driving was good by everyone. Glad to see it getting more popular. More people need to still come though!!!

The car’s not too bad. Drove it home today and it still drives fine and all that business. The driver side quarter panel is effed from the sidemarker back but it doesn’t affect driveability so I’ll leave it for now as it’ll probably be the most expensive job.
As for the front: It’s leaking washer fluid and the radiator support is pushed in a good few inches and one headlight can’t flip up. Some frame near the battery is crushed but the hood is in surprisingly good shape despite being bent upwards. Now I just have to figure out how I’m gonna go about fixing it the rest :wall:

You should leave it all fucked up and slap as many drift/drifto/dori dori stickers on it as you can find. Now its a real drift car and no one could ever call you a ricer. :E

First thing he needs to do is get a huge band-aid decal made to go over the rear quarter damage.
