# Before and After

I’ve had this car for a few years now and I’ve never been a fan of the white wheels on it. When it got delivered from CA that was the first thing that crossed my mind-I want to get rid of the white wheels on it.
So I finally tracked down a set of silver wheels on another Ur-Q for sale, contacted the seller, and bought the wheels.

These center caps proved hard as fuck to find. Everyone threw them out as they liked the open look with out the center caps. Once I saw how complete the caps made the wheels, I had to have a set. Got them for a steal and they are in great shape

Overall I’m as happy as a whore on free drink night the way the car now looks.
My next task is to get rid of the HORRID HORRID HORRID exhaust on the car and then track down a set of Euro lights. I figure I should have this car the way I want it by the time I’m 85 judging by how long this took me.

Nothing, and I mean NOTHING below 3k. Off the line a stock Daewoo is probabally faster. It really gets fun at 3k and pulls pretty well to red line. It does have a cam, waste gate spring, and a chip, so maybe that makes it seem even more top end oriented? It needs some bushings and maybe some strut mounts before I can really push it along with non dry rotted tires, but I really like it.

I love this car, I prefer the white wheels, and think you should chop the wheelbase between the B and C pillars.

Looks good Krant, I like the silver wheels :tup: Can you wax that thing atleast and bring some color back a little. Isn’t it hard to not mod that car? I would want to do shit to it if it was mine.

It’s been a while, but from what I remember, they’re VERY 944 turbo-like in that regard, and mods exacerbate the lag.
