# Best Brand New Car Under $25k?

Help me out, right now I can think of these:
2007 Mazdaspeed 3
2006 Mazdaspeed 6 (after rebates plus A plan)
2007 Honda Civic Si
2007 Volkswagen GTI
It’s going to be an unmodded, fun to drive DD. Good gas mileage and low maintenance is definitely a plus, hence most of the reason for wanting brand new.

Look for leftover 06s in the 33k and under range…could probably swing that for the same price as a new 07

wasnt this just in autoweek a couple months back? i remember reading it in the shitter.

The 06 07 wrx brakes are big now too. They don’t look cheap to replace.

I would have to argue with that list because the mazdaspeed 3 is faster than the 6 to the best of my knowledge.

the mazdaspeed 6 is somewhere in the mid 5’s to 60. The 3 is about 5.9 or 6 flat. I assume AWD helps the 6 out a lot. They did a comparo against the legacy gt once and the subaru came out on top but the performance stats were similar. Mid or low 5’s for both.
