Should hold color just fine (you only have like 3 months of summer anyways lol), it’s better for plants than rock/rubber, it chokes out weeds really well and it contrasts well with the greens in the shrubs.

A fried of ours had it has his restaraunt but was having too many insurance claims, they said pick your business or pirate ship. Needless to say bought it from him and flat bedded into my backyard. Since then I’ve stained entire ship, added larger mast, A-frame for swings, and it goes on…I should have started a ship build thread haha.  
I can post some more pics up once this damn snow is gone.
