i went to dicks today (transit near Maple one) and the selection sucked. i dont need anything fancy, dont want to spend alot, but im gonna start skating again and hopefully get back into playing again. any idea??? ---

Its in Rochester. But Locker Room Sports. Has the best prices skates and everything you need. I hope its Hockey skates ---

What I usually do is go to great skate, find the skate you want them hop online and see if you can find it cheaper. [Hockeygiant.com](http://Hockeygiant.com) or [epuck.com](http://epuck.com) are good places to start. Theres always ebay too. ---

pay it again sports is always good for skates… the have like 3 or 4 year old skates that were originally ~$300 for ~$70 ---

great skate is the best place in the area imo, but the prices arnt very buyer friendly. Sometimes you can go there and find a close out skate from last year for a good price. if your looking for a great pair of used skates i may be able to help you out…what size skate do you wear? ---

I’ve said it a bunch of other times before, but I work up at Great Skate, what size are your dress shoes? Depending on your size let me know, and I can try and get you a deal on something. We have so many different skates in the back from previous years that we put out in our tent sale, that are marked down over 50% off just not a lot of selection on size. ---

walmart has some cheap ass CCM hockey skates. 30 bucks i think. I got a pair, used them a few times in toronto in the outdoor rinks, and at the rink downtown. Works fine! ---

buy used skates, theyre already broken in, cheap and much better than brand new ccm’s. sheeesh.
