No fucking shit. If you read the post, people were discussing him having a 4 post lift for storage vs. a 2 post for actually working on a car…

also a twin post isnt the best for high end cars due to the side skirts r always over the pinch rails making lifting at a difficult. 4 post drive on lift with jack\> that hunk of rotary

I’m in the process of buying a house, and the first thing I will do is build an insulated expension on the garage with a lift.

I can’t wait to have a real place to work on cars.

And park a car below, right through the posts? Around the posts? 😉

I never have a problem with any of our twin posts.

If I was going to store a car on one of these 4 posts, I would put some junk tires on the car at least.

edit:n/m

and you are correct… if you can fit a car thru them to get it on the lift, you should be able to park one under it 😛 lol 😃

The first garage is nice, but I’d rather have my Uncle’s. I need a garage I can work in, it’s very nice just to much “show” IMO.

I have a nice sized garage but it is just full of crap. I need to get at it in the spring and get it functional.

my back yard functions as the best garage around, sunny in the summer, windy in the fall, rainy in the spring, and snowy in the winter. and the square footage is great.
besides laying in rocks/grass/mud/snow banks just makes u a faster worker and more effective worker.

lol i love how everyone always has to argue about what other people shouldve done with their own money.

meanwhile, this guy owns a gajillion cool cars and probably has more money than everyone debating what he shouldve done instead.

proceed.
