Its been a while since we had a thread like this but what are the best vacation websites
I know about [hotels.com](http://hotels.com) and [expedia.com](http://expedia.com) but are there better ones out there
My g/f and I are trying to plan a trip to an exclusive location like the Caribbeans, Dominican Republic, Hawaii, etc.

Try [Kayak.com](http://Kayak.com) it saved me some money a few times now, better than priceline and the latter.

If you know what you are doing, and willing to take a bit of a risk on being assigned a room blindly, then you can save a serious amount of money on priceline.
I stayed in a Holiday Inn in San Diego for under 30 dollars per night this year, and a 4 star hotel in Tampa for under 50 dollars.

[kayak.com](http://kayak.com) is the best I’ve found. They will search all the other discount travel sites.

Looks shady, great site. My dad uses it to cruise for next to nothing all of the time. Living around the corner from the pier helps too.

We cruise using [cheapcruises.com](http://cheapcruises.com), then just book your own flight. Cruise \>\>\>\> all inclusive resort.
