# best way to ship wheels

I need to send my factory se-r wheels minus tires to Ontario. What is the best way to save the buyer shipping cost? Greyhound? Purolator? UPS?

All are fairly competitive I found.
When I shipped some exhaust parts once it came down to a difference of like 20-30dollars between companies…
…look for sales though, one guy gave me a decent price just becuz I was going to go check out other places…so I mean Im sure some companies you cant haggle but then again whats the hurt in it.

In my experience, you’re lucky. I don’t think I’ve ever had a GOOD experience with DHL. Not only do I now refuse to let my staff use them to ship, I’m actually requesting my clients to use someone else (if at all possible) when shipping to me.
We use Fedex mostly at work, although Greyhound works well for getting to small towns that the other companies might not get to. For my personal shipping, I usually use Canada Post, and haven’t had any problems…

I hate UPS. They once delivered an envelope to me, the delivery guy didn’t ask for any money, and for the next 6 months (and counting) they’ve been pestering me with collection notices and phonecalls.
Plus they’ve usually charged me almost the same amount for shipping, as what I’ve ordered. For example, I ordered a HICAS cancelling bar that cost $110 US. They charged me $85 CAD for shipping.

yeah i’ve had the same thing happen to me a number of times. . .on car parts as well . . .
even a letter saying that they would take me to court. . .months after i paid them again. . . .

i shipped my old Impuls to Winnipeg, but with tires… what i did was put cardboard over the faces and wrapped them in pallet wrap and taped it up to make sure it lasted.
worked great afaik
