720p for \<$40. The quality on my end seems great, a lot better than any I have received from others.

What are you using it for? No point to get 1080p if you are looking to web chat since most uploads can’t support the 1.5MBps stream.

If you are looking to locally record youtube videos and maybe some hidden camera porn, go all out and get the 1080p.
