i too agree with 240, Maddox is definitely not going to be coming back to play unless Ben would get hurt. But I think it would be wise to keep maddox as a strong second QB that can teach Ben his experiences. Maddox always came off like he just loved the game, he loved playing, and he loved watching his team win. I think those ideals will help Ben stay grounded and become a better QB ---

Cause he’s a worthless piece of shit player, he could do so much better but he has no work ethic, backside of plays he just jogs… Boss’s son got to interview him several times for a show, he’s always and ass before/after the show. He’ll demand some huge contract this year, it won’t make sense with the salary cap, time to dump him draft a new WR/LB, and get some more room under the salary cap without Maddox on it. Yah Maddox would make a great backup, but honestly can we afford it under the cap or would you guys rather see some more defensive players? While our defense is good, it’s the schema and very high risk with all the blitzs, would be nice to have a solid pass rusher from the d-line without it. Porter is getting long in the tooth… EDIT: I misread his contract wrong as it is heavily incentive based, and a max with incentives of 4M per year, it’s up to the Roney’s at this point. He has the ability to be one of the best recievers in the game, but he needs to quit complaining and acting like a primadonna and make some stats. ---
