I figured since this car has all the time and prep into it you wouldn’t want tape lines on the jambs with it painted on the car. Good progress, can’t wait to see it all together. ---

got the top of the hood/trunk top and bottom all blocked. painted the rest of the jambs and under the trunk in color/clear, just have to prime/sand under the hood and it will be time for basecoat. ---

It looks like was primed, not sealed. Totally different products, with sealer you put it on shortly before the base(and dont sand, just let flash) to ensure that you have one color throughout the car to make sure that spots that got sanded through dont show up in the base(different colors, and edges sanded through will leave small “rings” that you can see), and they show a good amount especially with silver metallics. It also seals up and little final defects and sanding scratches. ---

You are still thinking of the wrong sealer lol. The one Im talking about goes on JUST before you spray the car. Talk to them about it nucka! ---
