I got the new speedo gear installed, started the car for the first time since the drivetrain rebuild. No more throw out bearing noise, transmission shiftes great and the speedo works finally! However I was getting quite a bit of noise from the rear end, after some further diag. I found the passenger side axle bearing is very tight which I think is the cause of the noise. Ill drop by the machine shop on the way to work tomorrow to get a new one pressed on.I also started some underhood work, originally the front light harness came though the firewall and ran along the top of the inner fender, I removed it un-loomed it, inspected/cleaned the wires, re-wapped it and ran it along the outer frame rail. Eventually I will be hiding all of the underhood wires so this is just the start.

I will also be hiding the coil, but I have to go to the steel place to get some metal to make a new bracket.
I will be removing this bracket as well, that is where the washer bottle was originally.
the passenger side has quite a bit to hide so thatll be another day.

interior courtesy lights hooked up
Instead of splicing up the wiring harness to power accessories ( tach,radio,ext, ext) I added a fusebox on the back of the firewall to power stuff.
I also got the tach/shiftlight wired up and working

At first I was iffy myself about installing it. but being that the car doesn’t have a factory tach it is kind of nice to know.

got the seats back in today
hope to never need it but it never hurts to have this too
also swapped out the rear leafs for new stiffer 1.5 in drop leafs
new on top old on the bottom
and I got her back on her feet after being on jackstands for 3 months, even though I have jack it back up anyway it was nice to get it out in the sun again even if it is all dusty.
