How does it suck for the owner? He hasnt paid sales tax in a year! He obviously knew this was coming…
The place was full of underages and fights, thats about it. IT SUCKED.

dude it sucked, the girls were 16 and the dudes there were super shitty horrible greasy jackasses that wore their highschool football jerseys and danced all over the girls that were half their age…it was a shitty place

damn… I know the kid that owns it. He never paid his bills, so it’s no suprise that he ows taxes too. I knew as soon as the manager (former owner of the bar) left to start his own bar, Bigshotz would be close w/in a year. And now I know I was right.

O well like someone else said it will just reopen under another name thats all. I didnt mind it, didnt go there that often, but when i did it was fun, but thats cause i usually go wit ha big group that makes it fun 🙂

dude…it may suck to hear…but the place was really a shit hole…and like everybody said so far…there were so many underage people it was horrible. Hopefully someone will buy it out…fix it up, and make some good money

Why hate on big shotz? its fine if you don’t like it, don’t go there, but why hope for it to close? Then the crowd that you don’t like is just that more likely to come to a place that is nice enough to meet the high standards of NYspeed :rolljerk:
dives can be fun too.

Well, I’ve had plenty of fun at bars, just as long as you know people, you can have a good time whereever you go.
That still doesn’t justify it being a good bar.
The true definition of a good bar, would be you going there, and having a good time. Without a bunch of your friends.
I mean, a bar is a bar pretty much, a place the serves alcohol. It really is the people who make the bar, with some exceptions, where one bar is cooler with it’s design or whatever what not.
But look at the majority of the people who go there - underage people. I mean, don’t get me wrong, some people are cool when they are younger… but like - most of them aren’t. They are idiots. I’ve worked at a bar like that for a long long time, and have seen everything.
Anyway - Total Recall is on and my attention is all over…

called one of the bouncers last night to hear the story first hand from somebody who actually would know what they’re talking about, rather than all the bullshit people like to talk on here…
they were temporarily closed according to him, just to “get things straightened out,” and they will be back open for business wednesday night…
