Amherst Police are investigating a serious motorcycle accident on Youngs Road. Youngs is shut down in both directions between Main and Wehrle. No other details have been released by police yet. ---

You hate to hear when it’s another motorists fault, WAKE UP! For as congested as that road is during the day, speeds are usually fairly slow. Hope he pulls through. ---

Ughh I get a lump in my throat every time I see a thread titled like this. Terrible that its one of the worst possible outcomes. If we find out that this is a result of what you guys are saying, and what I also assume (Dumb ECC broad texting) THIS IS THE EXACT situation I use to explain how I just cant get on a bike. ---

In to find out who this is. First place I checked. I know to many people riding bikes in the area. Not saying it was the case, but lets not jump to conclusions on the accident. She might have pulled out in front of the bike, but being the area, he might have been trying to show off and floor it past the college. Stupid, but people do it. I’m assuming it’s her fault as well, but we can’t be sure yet. This is the main reason why I sold my bike a few years back. After having a number of friends go down, and recently a few pass away, I just had no desire to ride anymore. Ugh, and this happened about 1/2 a mile away from where I am working too.
