Saw a sign today as I was riding on lark street.
Sign essentially said “Albany county noise ordinance: bikes beware, loud noises not allowed”

While doing that, stand in front of the train and see if it stops haha. More stupid shit that the government is imposing to win votes for their side. I’m throwing my friends W7 in the RSX with a 1000/1 and driving up and down Lark with dubstep now.

Yeah becasue if I lived in down town albany, I would be looking over my shoulder for a loud bike passing by every what 30minutes or so, for me to “interact” with it for what 15 seconds?
How about people be more conserned about looking over their shoulders for; Gangs, punk kids, knives, guns, theves, drug dealers, rapes, prostitution, car jacking.
Ohh wait, thats becasue all those things require actual police work. Something that is a little harded than parking, waiting, flipping a switch in a car, walking 12 paces 4 times and writing on a 3X7" piece of paper.
I just whitnessed REAL police work, and I will tell you if the police forces were filled with guys like what I worked with, your grandmother would have more street cred than Jose gangbanger running lark st.
Fuck I cant wait to get my cut out working.

I live in Center Square and saw this the other night when I was riding by on the bike. If you don’t like noise, try to pick a street that doesn’t have 3 bars on every block to live on or isn’t a major thoroughfare. I get much more annoyed by thumping bass or the taxi that picks up someone every night at the same time and lays on the horn for 3 minutes to let them know they’re there than by a couple of bikes going by.

theres been a bunch of editorials in the Gazette about bike exhausts too.
I really dont see how some of these guys can ride bikes that loud. Like when Im driving next to them and can hardly hear my stereo because of the guy on the Harley next to me with his loud exhaust.
