the Conservative party in my riding passed over the 2 highly experienced and credentialled candidates and parachuted in the guy that ran without telling their EDA (Electoral district association). Several of the EDA members reached out to me, requested signs and told me they would vote PPC out of protest. This was the case (parachuted candidates from outside the riding) in more than 80 ridings for the Conservatives i am told. The parties are corrupt top to bottom. there is no chance of reform from within. learning that was a part of why I did this. so that i can speak from hard-earned experience rather than rhetorically. Additionally, more than 70 PPC candidates backed out last minute… presumably they were plants from the other parties to disrupt the PPC.
