The problem with the device was that it emulated the thumbstick throttle rather than act like a mouse. Fine adjustment was non-existent, etc…

I’ve got one of those for the original xbox, I wanted to try the mouse & kb with h2. It’s called a smartjoy frag or somehting.
But I never got used to it.
If anyone wants it they can have it.
I don’t know if they make on for the 360 yet.

not yet… tried getting the PC demo on Steam last night, but even this morning, it was hung at 80%.
kind of funny though… I stopped by gamestop on the way home from work yesterday and asked this guy in his late 40’s-early 50’s wearing a different color shirt (obviously a manager) if they had bioshock in. He said “yes we do… an it’ll be for sale tomorrow” in a really rude tone.
I asked him “well, any chance you’d let me grab a PC copy today?”
He replied with “not if I want to keep my job”
I shrugged my shoulders and said “thats ok… I guess I’ll just go home and download it” and walked out lol
FYI… going to buy it right now

I played the demo on x360 last night… and was just meh about it. although i dont have a HD tv… so maybe that makes the difference?

Picked up the game today during lunch.
HDTV makes a huge difference in graphic appearance. Is that the only thing that made you meh about the game?
I thought the atmosphere and the story in the demo were great. I was pulled right into the world the game presents. It actually felt pretty scary.
Can’t wait to play it when I get home.

thanks for replying man.
it was kinda scary admittedly, but i played the demo way late last night after a couple hour jam in GH2… so i may not have been in the right mindset. I’d love to try it again, but i dont want to go through the whole demo again just to get back to where i was ( the weird robot thing protected the little girl )
id like to try it again… shrug… i like games with atmosphere and this may be one that provides it. i’m bummed about the lack of multiplayer to be honest… i wish it was available to rent … right now.

Multiplayer would have been huge with this game I think.
There is all kinds of customization to weapons plus the addition of the genetic altering. That could have made for some interesting online battles.
