I am not sure, but they were pulling merch off the floor and placing at the hold for pick up shelves. Again i was pretty plastered, but it was def. happening.
they also have the items that are in store only, and they don’t even place those on the floor. They hand out vouchers at the door to the first few people in line that want specific items, and you just have to go to the cust service desk to redeem it. There was about 500+ people outside the door at 4 when i got there, so i assume the voucher people got there at like6pm the day prior.
For any pizza guys here, there was one gentleman selling breakfast pizzas to the line at all of the stores in the area, and he said he was making a killing!

For the TV’s that are on black friday special they usually bring in about 30-50 of the small ones, and 4-5 of the large TV’s. The computers that they sell are actually sold below cost in hopes of recouping loss on the install and software side, and they onlt have 2-5 of each special. Laptops you are lucky if they have 3 of the special ones. I am not sure about this year, but last year they also gave away free camera’s and 512 SD cards to the first 200 people in the door. Then the rest of the SD cards were $2.50 each, and they had a good thousand of them

BF has turned intoa circus. Its pretty stupid at this point. Stores advertise all these Amazing deals on high dollar items… A laptop for instance… to bad they only have 5 - 10 in stock … IF THAT. Its just bullshit used to generate a feeding frenzy. And it works.
You have to get to the store at 3am (or earlier) to get online for a 6am opening… then maybe you will get the top 10 spots… and that doesnt guarantee people wont rush the door at 6am and cut you and get to the stuff first.
Unless you are shopping online that day in store BF is a ridiculous mess.

the retail world is changing alot now. With how bad the economy is, they will have special deals each week before and after thanksgiving. They started to do this more and more last year.

Im hoping to score a cheap laptop for the wife. I will only buy online and I will not go to the stores. Walmart did advertise a compaq for 298. They say each store will have 10 min.
