Anyone know what wheels move when a 94 blazer is in 4wd. dont remember if it is the rear pass side and the front drivers side. ---

I well i didnt know the exact way to put the ? I went mudding and all 4 tires did not spin when i got stuck. just seemed like the back pass and front drivers side where trying to grab. but the others didnt seem to be spinning. Only reason i ask is because when i finally got out i put it in 2wd and got the one wheel peal from the rear pass side. ---

Open diffs, give power to the ones with the lest grip… so you can’t say specifically which 2 have power at any given moment unless you get an LSD or a locker… thats why last year when I was playing in the snow with the evo and a blazer I went further in the deep snowy field because EVO’s have LSD in all 3 diffs. ---

usually the rear is on the opposite side of the gas tank…due to the added weight of it… ---

[/quote] ARB air lockers or E-locker (eletronic locker) are the way to go if its a DD, otherwise it wont be fun to drive on dry pavement… or just go with an lsd… or if you really dont care becouse its a beater just have the rear welded. i think it ARB air lockers… there are some fairly inexpensive LSD’s at summitracing for lots of stuff. they are a quaife style. Brian ---

i have my old blazer rearend laying around i was going to check that one. i thought it as a lsd. cant remember. If not i was going to try to find a camaro rear end and pull it out of it.
