# blown a fuse or something! help!

i bought a new battery the other day and my friend put it in backwards and said he heard a pop. now my engine will start but nothing electrical will work. i have no idea what it could be i was lookign at fuses and found one blown. also my passenger window wont go up now. could i have shorted the motor??? please help thanks.!
