Yes its GPS verified aswell as staying neck and neck with a friends checkmate which is good for about the same speed. Boat speedo was slightly higher. Ever since then it’s been 47ish. That day was fresh wax, new prop and no gear (not like there’s much anyhow). After a couple trips to sand island and couple sandbars later its down to 47. We shall see if she can see 50 again come spring. I truly could care a less about top speed, it’s nice how it just picks up and goes. Makes getting around the lake a lot more fun. Beats the top speed of low 20s on the last boat that’s for sure. ---
