Anyone getting boats ready for the summer? I just took mine out for its first run of the season on Sunday. smoked like crazy at first because I fogged it before I put it away for the winter, but after I cleaned it all out, she ran like a champ. I put it in, in Southside, 18th street, they have a free launch there. I also saw the new Marina they have at Station Square, looks real nice, all lighted, plenty of slips. It opens on the 15th of this month, next Tuesday. Anyone that has a boat, let me know, we will have to schedule a day to head out on the river. My boat is nothing special, its an 89 Celebrity Calais, open bow, I/O with the 4.3, only tops out at 42 mph. Id like to maybe put a bigger motor in it at the end of this season. ---

SoLow I dock in Elizabeth as well. We’ll have to meet up on the river sometime. I have a 95 Sport Nautique, with a black Monster tower. We’ll probably put it in this weekend or next, just waiting on having the cover refitted for the wakeboard tower, and having a leak-less packing gland installed. ---

Trying to get my dad to bring our boat home. 16ft Sylvan split window with a 90hp evinrude E-tec (god of all motors). Tops out around 45-46. can’t wait to get out and fish/wakeboard. Looking for a Pylon as we speak. ---

That’s a pretty and dirty boat you got there. I dock one marina down from you, The Castaway. I’m getting gas, probably right next to your boat just about every day in the summer. Luckily for us, Jack (the old owner of the Castaway marina) keeps ours inside his stoage facility all winter, so I did a good clean and polish last fall. I’m hoping to just wipe it down and drop her in. ---

dad has 19 foot open bow crownline with a chevy 350 4bbl good for close to 60 mph its always funny to see the guys in the high performance boats, when dads little boats is still next to them ---
