The Skyline still exists for the Japanese versions of the G37:

i’m sure the amount of time saved with each shift from the clutchless transmission on the GTR was enough to give it a better time then the Z06. Thats great and all, but I’d take the Z06 and have fun with the third pedal 🙂
I know the Z06 pulls a 1.04G on the skid pad…I didn’t think the GTR was that high…
Both cars rock, but I could never own a sports car that I couldn’t shift like a normal manual.
Sherm - I Don’t really think you can call it magazine racing when both cars ran the same track. It’s at least a little more informative then just test numbers for individual characterisics of the car.

Actually, he is quite right. A C6 Z06 would RAPE any Skyline. How it would do against a GTR, no one knows since it’s not in public hands yet.

Thats what i would like to know… Other than my jealousy of them getting paid decent money to turn a screw for 8 hours. I really can’t say that I have much respect for GM line workers as far as their recent disputes.

the people on here gut the shit out of there cars to remove weight and u guy are arguing about interiors. which btw gm has come a long way the last couple years with there interiors. but thats some amazing 1/4 mile times for a stock sub 100grand car

Too bad the interior is so shitty. A step up from the c5, but still shitty.
My theory is, if they didnt take the time to make the part you see nice… I am sure they didnt stop there.
