Having misfires a few times under full boost recently. Does not happen all the time. When just daily driving there is no sputtering/poping or rough idling. Starts up just fine in the AM.Mainly occurs in 4th gear… IDEAS? Set up … Built D-16y8 …Rods/pistons/studs… eCtune 440 rc injectors Brand new BK7RE… Month old GT28r turbosmart wg hks ssq bov … Try to keep this thread clean guys/girls!.. ---

had VERY similar problems in the SER, only under WOT, drover perfect every other time, turns out it was 2 faulty coilpacks. so yeah, i’d bet its something fishy in your plugs or wires or GSR distribee or something ---

My guess is that the hydro-pin on the splinter-coil is starting give. I would replace the entire splinter-coil with a new oxo-tube with variable tube drive technology. And just to back that up I would say grab a emissions controlled aqua-spring as they are known to make a more efficient path for the VTDT with the oxo-tube. ---
