# Border Crossing w/ Temp Tags? Attn: Minglor, Walker...

So I’m going to visit Bing, but my truck only has a NJ temp tag on the rear window… am I going to catch hell for it or should I be fine? :gotme:

Have the temp registration and insurance handy.

hopefully u dont get searched again by the same guy. he will really think something is up. old range now a new one… try explaining that one to him. lol have fun man

Had a temp tag taped to the inside rear window of my Expedition when I bought it in MI and drove back through Canada. Other than the woman at US customs having to walk back to read it through the factory tint I had no problem. Canadian customs pulled me over for a quick search but that only took a couple minutes.

I brought the new BMW back from MI with not a single problem, both into Canada and out. They checked out the temp registration and then sent me on my way.

i bought a teg in michigan and drove through the border at port huron/sarnia and then over here at the queenston lewiston… didn’t have any problems at either end of the border
